The dance film INSIKTEN was created in the meeting between film, flamenco and electronic music. During her stay in Kiruna, Sofia Castro spoke to residents and visited different parts of the city in order to gain an understanding of its history and the change that urban transformation entails. "That our stories belong together and that we can mirror ourselves in each other through patience and listening," says Sofia Castro.

Kiruna is a city that developed around its iron mine and now falls victim to it. Everything is moved and renewed. Human history is forever changing and moving forward. Those are the Insights that Sofia was inspired by in the creation of the dance film.
